    • Classical Singing Q&A
Vocal Craft is now offering a Classical Singing Q&A forum for singers, singing teachers, passing enthusiasts, our course participants and voice professionals. Due to the popularity of the Classical Voice Training Podcast (available via Apple Podcasts, Podbean, Spotify etc) we also wanted our listeners to have the ability to ask questions of us and, where possible, our guests. We've learnt through our many courses and events that singers and teachers often ask similar questions and we hope this repository of information will help singers and teachers everywhere. We now have a large back catalogue of course recordings available on the website for those of you who wish to explore our teaching and performing model further. This forum will provide the perfect opportunity to ask questions that you may have after watching that weren't answered or explained in the recordings. The training and voice building of a classical singer can take more than a decade and a village of people to complete it. We hope that through Vocal Craft you will find members of a multi-disciplinary team to help you on your journey as a singer or teacher. For ease of navigation we have split the questions into pedagogical categories based on our training model. These threads include:
      • Breath Management & Support
      • Primal Sound
      • Postural Alignment
      • Phonation & Laryngeal Registration
      • Vocal Acoustics & Acoustic Registration
      • Resonance & Articulation, legato and phrasing
      • Voice and the Brain; Teaching & Learning
This Classical Singing Q&A forum is designed for short questions as more complex issues need to be addressed personally through a one-2-one singing lesson. Please note: whilst we're happy for you to give case studies and personal experience as examples in your questions please refrain from using actual names to protect the identity and privacy of those you may wish to describe. Please also refrain from mentioning particular teachers and/or teaching methods by name.
